Joy was a special lady who was especially kind and caring to me in my younger years. I will never forget the time and support she gave me. I lost my Mum at a very young age and Joy often welcomed me with open arms into the family home for a meal or would ring me for a chat. One in a million! Rest in Peace lovely Joy Kathy xxx

Joy was such a kind and loyal friend to my mother Joan, over many years after they first met as colleagues at Manormead School. After Joan passed away in 2012, Joy extended her kindness and friendship to me too. It was an honour to have known her, and I will keep her in my heart forever.
