Holmes & Daughters is an experienced Funeral Director in Teddington, founded in 1993 by brothers David and Andrew Holmes. Inspired by their stepfather’s career as a coroner’s officer, the brothers combined their expertise – Andrew’s traditional industry apprenticeship and David’s financial background – to launch a dedicated family-run firm. With the support of their extended family and friends, the business quickly established a reputation for excellence, leading to the opening of the Teddington branch in 1995.
In 2000, the Holmes family decided to sell the business to G M Luff & Partners, with John Holmes continuing to oversee local operations as a member of the Board. Today, our Teddington team remains committed to providing a compassionate and professional service to families across Teddington, Twickenham, Hampton Hill, and Kingston upon Thames, upholding the high standards of care the community expects.
Now operating as part of the Ford Mears group, Holmes & Daughters has benefited from significant investment in our facilities and a high-quality fleet of modern funeral vehicles.
