Shirley. Wow! What a send off the family gave you! That was the benchmark for all future departures. We don't think that anyone left the service without knowing what you meant to Peter and your family. The service reflected the love, warmth and admiration that your family have for you, supported by relatives and scores of your and friends. By all accounts there certainly were a lot of laughs along the way. For Peter; Peter has thought many times that you're 'Leaving me now', and he's yearning 'To be with you again' because 'There's something about you', a 'Physical presence' that made him feel that he had 'Heaven in my hands'. So, 'Take care of yourself', 'Forever now' and 'Overtime' we'll ALL find 'Love in a peaceful world'. So, au revoir dear Shirley as you continue your journey and thank you for being our friend.

You were a lovely lady Shirley. What a wonderful send off Peter, Ian, Nicola and Steve gave you. Rest in peace.

I cannot thank the incredible care staff that gave their time to make Mother comfortable during her time at home, you are all so seriously under appreciated and carry out your work without judgement and with pride. Mother enjoyed some good jokes and laughs which was certainly much needed. Thank you all again so much.. Steve, Colleen, David, Nathan and Clark (meow) RIP Mother and I miss you so much xxx
